| New Sim In World At SecondLife |
|
|
The big news is audiocourses now has a whole sim dedicated to our educational activitites in the 3D virtual world known as Second Life. This equates to 16acres of real world space, or an area which is 256m x 256m, that's about two and a half football pitches in width and length.
Please do come along and find us in-world and see what we are up to and have planned. I am in the process of building a very large multi-purpose building which will see us utilise some very interesting learning environments and technologies.
Some "key" themes will be live streaming music performances, this could easily be YOU being streamed from your location to an online audience in-world. I plan on having all the resources available to make this happen for you, including a streaming server @ 128kbs for around 100-200 listeners.
I have also started a blog just for my avatar activities which can be found here:

Great to hear a few more of you are signing up.
However you're bound to experience a few problems (especially on your beast of a computer varun ) as secondlife is expanding so rapidly that the servers are struggling to cope. and things start to get "laggy", i.e. delayed and jittery.
ive noticed the average number of online users at any one time has doubled in the two months that ive been a SecondLifer. _________________ If In Doubt...Hit It With a Hammer, If Still In Doubt... Find a Bigger Hammer. |
