I got an MXL condensor mic (990, 991) to be specific, i need to get something with phantom power so i can use it. I've seen a few yamaha mixers i'd like to get, any other suggestions? nothin to fancy, my budget is 200-300$ usd, perfer usb connectivity or firewire( but that cost more)i want something with a few mic inputs & preamps and some effects onboard, i'm just using it to record studio vocals for hip hop projects. Thanks -thadefendent |

That surely is a steal!
Or you could go the other way and get yourself a sound interface (something from M-Audio or E-MU should fit your budget).
How does the MW10/MW12 sound Chris? |

It's a good sounding unit, but more than that is has multiple inputs, inserts, aux and various stereo/2 track configs which makes it a very versatile unit for my needs. Direct monitoring also which is essential. _________________ It's all in the ears. - Learn the concepts not the software.
