WaveLab Lite  Reply with quote  

Im using WaveLab Lite and im trying to edit and cut down a song to only get about thirty seconds of it.The problem is when i import from iTunes it wont open. any suggestions? thank you.

You must be exporting the file as a file type that wavelab cannot read.

in itunes, select the track you want to take into wavelab, then click advanced > convert selection to Mp3.

it will pop up in your library, then just drag it out of itunes onto your desktop, or locate it on hard drive with wavelab using the import function. that should do the trick.

also make sure the song doesn't have a license on it. i downloaded some songs i wanted to try to sample before and i couldn't do a THING but play them in windows media player b/c of the license it had on it. that might be another problem that you might be having.

easy enough to get round that though lilbuddy. just record the output of windows media player internally using CEP or similar.

little proggy called RipVinyl is great for this, and very cheap.

but i didnt tell you that! Rolling Eyes

hmmm...and just to elaborate on that...wmplayer has its own eq(not very powerful or precise, but could be worked)...

so i can eq it and then record the output huh?

don't tell me that either...lol
