Repily to Fl 6 question
What i do when i need to record something is, i export the the track to an mp3 and load it into mixcraft (baisc mixing softwear find here http://www.acoustica.com/mixcraft/) Then i use it to dub the insterment i want to record. after that it all depeds on your set up. i use a ling 6 gear box interface for everything. its good because it works as a sound card and can hook up directly to any sterio channel on a mixing board.
As far as i know Fl studio dosnt have live recording capabilitys.
