Mackie dxb 200 or Tascam dm 4800?  Reply with quote

HI,

I am already preparing to set up a standard recording studio, and I'm quie in a fix, with deciding whether to remain in the analogue domain or go digital. I've been working quite a lot with analogue mixers, so I quite know what the consider. But my gretaest headache now are the digital consoles. I've only used as basic digital recorder (Korg D-3200), which I had a good time with. Now, I want to upgrade I have a Mackie dxb 200 and the TAscam DM 4800 in mind. Does anyone have any knowledge of these mixers? I need advice please. Will I really need any outboard effects after purchasing any of these mixers?
