Where To Install Plugins  Reply with quote

I've been trying to install some plugins. Those that are RTAS seem to automatically go where they need to go. I have some non-RTAS plugins, that are VST's and I'm not sure how and where they should be installed. I have a RTAS to VST Converter from Fxpansion, so the VST's should work once installed. If anybody can provide me with the proper order of operations to get these VST's to work, It will be greatly appreciated.

Should the VST .dll file go into the commonfiles/dae/plugins folder?

Where should the entire vst be installed?

Please help?

VST to RTAS  Reply with quote

You dont really have to place them in any particular location. Once you've installed the VST plugins open the VST to RTAS convertor and ask it to scan for VSTs (or something similar - been a while since ive used it!). Once it scans the computer it will show you a list of all VST plugins which you can then activate for conversion.
