|
|
Hi guys, i did some recording in wavelab and I had create temp files enabled. Shortly after stopping the recording my comp crashed. So I couldnt save to wav file, leaving me with only the temp file.
Is there a way convert this into a wav file so I can listen to it?
I'm using win xp OS
Cheers and thanks for any advice, tips...

Hey thanks, nothing at all happens, because the temp file type is .$$$ and this is not associated with any program - I guess its in a 'format' only known to wavelab. I'm surmising that when one clicks the save button, wavelab processes this temp .$$$ file and converts it appropriately as .wav or whatever format the user chooses.
Hope this helps, and thanks again,

I'm not sure in what format exactly Wavelab saves this file. However, you would probably be able to open it as a RAW file, and then re save it.
There are a few tools which let you do that in fact Wavlab is one of them, when you open the file select the type as RAW, you will see .$$$ is one of the extentions.
If that doesn't work you could try some other apps that do the same, here are a couple easy to grab ones:
