Help - Issue With The Graphic When Recording  Reply with quote

Ones again im a new user of protools.

My problem is that, when i start recording audio, the graphic does not show the real graphic. and when i record on the next track, it shows the same graphic of the before track. anyone with a fix for this. and the only way i get it to show the real graphic, is by holiding ALT+SHIFT and press NUM 3. (Dont Know Name Of The Fusion)

thanxs ....

Consolidating regions  Reply with quote

Hmm thats very strange. if i remember correctly alt shift 3 consolidates regions.

i assume by 'graphic' you mean the waveform display.

i cant give you much advice without seeing the problem and/or having protools in front of me. just sounds like the waveforms arent updating properly.

just as an outside chance try updating your graphics drivers.

If you could go into more detail that would help as im not entirely sure what you mean. you may have switched into volume/automation display rather than waveform. try selecting the track and pressing CTRL and - (minus)

Thats about it for now, get back with details if you can.

Recalculate waveform overview  Reply with quote

hi again.

did a bit of research and ive found that this is a known bug in 7.4. it should be fixed soon but then knowing digidesign i wouldnt hold your breath.

the workaround is to select the offending region and go to Region > Recalculate Waveform Overview

Hope that fixes it for now
