Hi all,
I've been writing and rapping for a few years on and off, mostly off for the last 2 but I'm keen to get back into it. I think I need to be making my own beats cos I want to produce a very individual sound that no one out there seems to be doing... but I need some advice on how to go about it. I have a toshiba with 2.10ghz, 160gb, 2gb ram running windows 7 64-bit.
I need to know what equipment and software I should get to be able to record vocals and possibly also instruments; also what to use to straight up create instrumentals, and how to combine the tools out there to get a good finished sound... doesn't need to be perfect right now, I'm just experimenting. I've used Reason, Acid pro & Soundforge a little bit but I also need some basic tutorials on how to use any recommended software. Can someone point me in the right direction?? thanxxx |
