here
to give our members a little more insight?
Some of the things that spring to mind:
do you actually provide a contract?
are you providing recording services?
based in UK are you only searching for UK talent?
Looking forward to hearing about Bean records.

Dear All,
Beanrecords is a U.K based label and is looking for primarily U.K artists. We work on limited funds and are a non-profit making organisation, driven simply by a passion for unsigned music. Due to the limited funds, we seek unsigned artists that have already cut a demo or album they wish to promote and sell via beanrecords. The contract is hence a non-exclusive licensing agreement. If you are an artist in this position please send in your recording for our A&R dep. Find details on www.beanrecords.com. We are currently in negotiations with ITEK distribution in the U.S. We are currently a digital distribution label, but as the catalogue expands we shall be seeking a U.K territory P&D deal. I hope this gives more of an insight to the label.

Thanks for that, it did shed a little more light on it.
In fact what I'm doing is setting up a thread just for
"Record Label
" chat and all the lovely legalitites that can come with that, as it seems to be of interest to lots of us.
