Audio Sampling  Reply with quote

Does anyone know of any, ideally free, programmes that can isolate vocal and instrumental parts of tracks in order that they can be then edited and sampled for other tracks? Cheers...

spectrally subtract one channel  Reply with quote

theres no one step method i'm afraid. ( although i've not tried Pandora RT on the Mac)

look for a plugin called Knockout (might be spelt 'Knock0ut' or something)
its free and allows you to spectrally subtract one channel from another in realtime

Soundforges Pan/expand feature is a starting point
