Hi! I'm from the U.K and have been going to Guildford School of acting for a couple of years now, just graduated (thank god)
I've always had a keen interest in sound, they have a couple of good bits at GSA, the best bit of sound kit being the tutor!
What pisses me off is this radio mic nonsense, they just love voices to be so loud you can tell it's comming from a speaker, they don't do the word suttle and couldnt care less if the sound comming out of the speakers is a disgrace to the human voice.
my advice, don't go to an acting school to do a techincal sound course! |

| Precedence Effect? |
|

Hehe sounds like good advice, and I bet they never even heard of using a delay to make the vocals really appear to come from the voices and not the speakers.
You know, the precedence effect? _________________ It's all in the ears. - Learn the concepts not the software.
