upgrading mac g4 ram  Reply with quote  

hi everyone. i currently have a 350 Mhz Power PC G4 Processor. the unit has 704 Megabytes of memory and 2 hard drives. i was just wondering how would i go about increasing the ram and maxing out my g4. i went to the computer shops around here but most of them are pc based. so i figured i'd look for help on here. thanks.

Check out apple.com or an apple store. The genius bar is a good way to find out how to max out your mac.

and if you want cheap RAM, that is high quality, that is the same company that Mac use for theirs, visit http://www.crucial.com/ - believe it or not, its the same stuff apparently!

u can use the pc from your local pc store  Reply with quote  

u can use the pc from your local pc store.the g4 350 ..... i believe uses pc 100 ram ...... u can also use pc 133 ... but it will only run @ 100 but thats cool ..... make sure that u put the biggest one first in the chain to the smallest ......
