3.2.1?  Reply with quote

Welcome to the ACF!

Nuendo 3.2.1 you mean? Verion 3 is not really new, it released way back in October 2004, and version 3.2.1 released sometime last year if I'm not too mistaken.

Yup - it's what I use. I've been using Nuendo since version 1 and like it very much.

I quite like it compared to the previous versions - looks better and extra options like the Control Room and deteailed meters are definitely valuable. With MIDI too its much more flexible and organised.

I just wish Steinberg makes the routing as flexible as Pro Tools/Logic/DP.

Nuendo 4 is out and does have a number of improvements. A few of its main features are the VST3 plug-ins that are surround aware. They can be used in either stereo or surround channels. The new 4-band parametric sounds much better than that found in Nuendo 3. I don't think its better than Sonnex (Sony) Oxford EQ but is really good. If you're thinking of upgrading then this is a good reason.

Another thing is they've "Fixed" the routing problem, or at least I think it was a routing problem. Now you can route from GROUPS to FX returns and vice versa without dealing with their order.
