Hi Beatz,

If this is your first visit to Audio Courses, I'm glad to give my 2 p worth of opinion.

I checked out the programme in Chicago you asked about. I spoke with their advisor on the phone and they gave me all the particulars (ie fee schedule, course curriculum etc). I think you would like an honest evaluation, so, that is what I will give you.

First, I must tell you that I am not employed, tasked or receive any recompense from Audio Courses for my opinion. I give it freely to anyone looking to enrich their skills, employability or knowledge in this field.

For much less expense, (I mean much less), you could get much more from the cerificate programme here at Audio Courses. MIW (in Chicago) gave me the curriculum information in great detail and it does not hold up to the curriculum, information or assistance you receive from Audio Courses.

I am not saying it is not a good school. Based on the information they gave me, you should at least have a look at the syllabus and/or talk to Chris Hambly, the director of AC. I am an educator and part-time engineer, so I have an idea of a good programme. I live in the US and have checked every audio school that is listed here. You won't beat AC for content, practice or assistance. Here at AC, you are taught how to work with all musical genres; not just rock and hip-hop. Take a look at the syllabus for each module and see for yourself what I mean, and ask questions. There are plenty of graduates who will attest to my claims. Good Luck and good recording!!

Ron
