Hi,
Just wondering as I live in Europe what times do the live classes be on and what day of the week are the live classes held?
Also if I can't make it to the online classes will there be no point in doing the course or do ye provide the material to be downloaded later for the people who cant make the classes?
cheers,
Kain |

Kain, welcome to the forums.
The online school operates 24/7, which means that the majority of the work you carry out, and YOU being the operative word, means that you can complete your coursework when YOU desire, in your own time.
We do however have periodic Live Workshops where we all get together, though these are generally not too frequent and also we try to organise them to suit everyone in the particular class.
Therefore you have no worries in this case, looking forward to you enrolling with us on your course. _________________ It's all in the ears. - Learn the concepts not the software.

Hi Kain,
I have studied with Audio Courses and want to give you my opinion.
As Chris stated, you can do the work when it fits your schedule. I was able to do my work in the middle of the night when it was quiet. The Live workshops were always scheduled well in advance and we students were always asked what time would work for us.
These courses are built around you, and your instructors (production advisors) are always available to answer questions, give advice etc. The short answer is, you control your studies. The courses are very comprehensive and tailored to give you optimum success. I hope you are able to enroll to see for yourself how flexible distance learning is. My opinion is that you will learn when you want to. |

Thanks for the quick replies. I am definately very interested in doing at least one course.
Just 2 other quick questions:
1. It says that courses are starting in February. I am currently doing a different unrelated class at the moment and around April would be the ideal time for me to start. Would this be OK or would I have to wait until September?
2. Just wondering what type of certification I would receive for Audio For Video course. Would this be a recognised cert? Also same for other courses. Are they recognised in the industry anyway?
Thanks for both responses already. And looking forward to joining.

We operate bi-semesters which begin twice a year, which is the first week in March and also September. You join a "group" of enthused learners, and throw ideas off each other.

As it stands you would obtain certification from Audiocourses.com. Industry recognition is an interesting concept. Personally, I think you'd find most people who would be willing to pay you would be most interested in your knowledge and experience, together with your aptitude for life-long learning. We can aid you in all those areas.
