Mastering plugins  Reply with quote

Right, so I used to be in a studio that had Waves plugins.. Now thing is, these things cost an arm and a leg, and me being a cheapo cannot afford that! I am looking for some recommendations on a few plugins that are excellent for mastering, and are reasonably cheap. I am using Pro Tools M-Powered, so needs to be compatible with that.

Sort of plugins I was thinking where, plugins that can adjust the stereo image, multi-band compressor, a maximiser, limiter etc. I am simply wanting to do some mastering for small projects, and thought it would be good fun to have a go at it.

Cheers

T Racks PSP Sonalksis  Reply with quote

Hey Calipso

I've been using plugins by IK Multimedia (T-Racks) and Sonalksis (T15/T16) along with Izotope Ozone lately - and I'm quite happy with what I've heard. Also some of the plugins by PSP are worth looking into.

Cheers

Well I use the waves audio plugins and have yet to find something that has a nicer texture and compatibility to waves....Exspensive but sure as heck worth it....
