I do Audio and Video at our church every week.
We have a GL2400 - 32 Channel
two Mackie speakers
and 2 JBL unpowered Monitors powered by Crown (forgot how many watts)
We have two sennheisers wireless mics
and
1 clip on mic (forgot which kind)
We are located in downtown Chicago.
This has been a growing problem in our church.
Sometimes we could hear some mexican radio station going on.
We used to have a Mackie mixer but couple weeks ago that blew up.
We thought it was that.
Cause we took out ever single thing that could bring that radio feed. But still its still there.
So then we had to use a 16 channel mixer for 2 weeks.
And same thing. So we figured out it wasn't the mixer.
But then we found out something.
We have two pulpit mics. They are very thin mics.
They require phantom power.
And when we turn on the phantom power the radio feed comes.
I don't know if this is the reason but it, been bothering our church members a lot.

its either intermod with the radio mics. change the frequencies of your radio mics, or its long cable runs acting as antennae.
when it happens, go along muting each channel until it disappears, then you know which channel is the problem. try changing the cable and/or the mic and see if it disappears.
its just a case of being logical and using common sense to track down the problem.
