Can't export to MP3 from cool edit

Can't export to MP3 from cool edit  Reply with quote  

This problem just randomly started one day!

Cool edit says 'fhtpro.flt' 'error opening output file'

Don't want to cheat and convert wav to mp3 as I know the programme works! i've tried a re-instal and no joy so it's rather confusing.

any help much appreciated.

with the older versions you had to install a 3rd party MP3 codec.

you could try that as a fix.

I downloaded that, but its just a folder with lots of other folders and files in, I can't see any installation file to actually run anything to install it?
