pro tools mixer or even knobs in lets moogerfooger plugin so as to write automation.

you would need to look up what the controller numbers etc. are for protools. will be in the manual, probably at the back.

then set your keyboard to output the corresponding midi.

cheers!! very helpful but also adds in the question "why to use pro tools
anyway?" they are advertising new functions in every new version that are ancient history even for cool edit..

thanks anyway

Cool edit is a great program for stereo editing. but for multitrack stuff ProTools blows it into the weeds.

sure i was talking litteraly. I just mean that daws like nuendo, logic, cubase are more user friendly and work in high standards 2. are also far ahead in midi
and its funny to hear digidesign to advertise functions that are already in lets say cubase from late 90's. in pro tools you can even have two automation lines like volume and pan of the same track simultaneusly opened or am i wrong?

thanks

I disagree, ProTools is really easy to use especially compared to Logic.

It always has lacked features but it was never designed for music creation, its predominantly for recording audio, editing and mixing it.

IT WAS YES BUT NOW ITS NOT ANYMORE. IT INCLUDES MIDI, SYNTHS ETC
PLUS I DONT KNOW WHAT YOU CAN RECORD WITH MAUDIO 24/96 89$ WHEN IN THE FIRST PLACE HAD ONLY DEDICATED HARDWARE.
WHAT I MEAN IS THAT IT USED TO BE SOMETHING PRO BUT NOW MUST DEAL WITH ALL THE REST BY LOWERING THE STANDARDS (M-POWERED ETC) SO ITS NOT A RECORDER AND EDITOR ANYMORE BUT A COMPETITOR OF CUBASE SO THEY MUST COPY ALL THE PROS OF CUBASE AND KEEP DIGI QUALITY AND NOT ADVERTISE COMON PRACTICES US INOVATIONS. THATS ALL. I REALLY LIKE THE SOUND THOUGH AND I AM USING IT.AND NOW
