The Guild of International Songwriters and Composers
Description: The Guild of International Songwriters and Composers (GISC) is an international organisation based in England in the United Kingdom. Guild members are songwriters, composers, lyricists, poets, performing songwriters, musicians, publishers, studio owners, music industry personnel, etc, from many countries throughout the world. The Guild has been publishing Songwriting and Composing magazine since 1986, which is issued free to all Guild members throughout their membership. The Guild of International Songwriters and Composers offers advice, guidance, assistance, protection, information, encouragement and services to Guild members with regard to helping members achieve their aims, ambitions, progression and advancement in respect to the many different aspects of the music industry. Information, advice and services available to Guild members throughout their membership includes assistance, advice and help on many matters.

The Brit Awards
Description: BRIT is an acronym for British Record Industry Trust. All proceeds from the BRIT Awards go to this trust which is usually refered to as the BRIT Trust. The BRIT Trust helps to fund, amongst other things, the BRIT School of Performing Arts and Technology in Croydon. As BRIT is an acronym, not a word, it should written in uppercase.
