Description: We are IAV – Instituto de Áudio & Vídeo, the first and the biggest Audio School in Brazil.
We have been working in Audio Education up to 09 years.
More than 2000 students have attended IAV and most of them are working in well Known firms like: studios, TV, Radios, etc.
At our school there are a completely structure, including: 04 studios, laboratory, library, classroom with acoustical treatment and one room exclusively for pro tools specialization course. The students, for practical classes, use three of our studios and the fourth one began construction in March of 2001 and was conceived by John Storyk from WSDG (Walter Storyk Design Group).
The best Brazilian professionals make our teaching staff.
The most important course is “Basics Fundaments of Audio and acoustic”.The programme with 280hours is divided in theoretical classes (120h) and practical classes (160h).
The students have an option to continue their attendance doing our specialization courses like: Pro Tools, Effects, Digital Console Operations, Midi, Live Sound Reinforcement, Practical Recordings and Acoustic Specialization.
