Aidan Curtis - username Aidan

Country: Ireland

Aidan Curtis was born in San Francisco, USA and has been living in Dublin, Ireland from age 10. Aidan listens to a variety of music though mainly 70s Rock, Punk & Reggae. He played bass in a few bands in his teens/twenties that led to his recording
interest over last five years.

Aidan has been steadily building up equipment having started with a Tascam 4-track and then onto a Yamaha 8 track Mini Disc, Behringer Virtualiser effects, Fostex DE1 effects, Alesis SR16 drum machine, Behringer Ultra Dyne Compressor/limiter, Casio keyboard and two basses: Wal Pro and Aria Pro fretless.

Working 9 to 5 (Aidan is a bank manager) means what little time he has for recording is precious, but he hopes to build a home extension to his house for his recording equipment and hopes to record local bands ,demos etc. Aidan’s audio knowledge is gleaned from books, SOS every month and the completion of the City & Guilds 1820 Sound Engineering Part 3 with AudioCourses in Spring 2003.
