Paul Ahier began in live sound and continued to expand his knowledge in other areas such as Recording, Broadcasting, Audio for Video and acoustics. Paul is a proud Mac user and has done numerous stints in the ICT Industry. He started forum moderating for audiocourses e-learning school in October 2003 and has was appointed Forum Manager for ACF+ in November 2006. Paul lives on Jersey in the UK and is well known on the live sound scene. He Hopes to move into broadcasting and work for the BBC after working on an ITV Program with Kevin Duff, which he rates as one of his best experiences to date. Paul always tries to multi-track his shows and produce live recordings as well as working with artists in the studio, He is the recording and live engineer for a top local band as well as the house technician for a 500 seat concert hall and hopes to prove that young engineers can hold their ground with the seasoned pro’s. Paul is currently studying for a BAHons Degree in Sound Technology at the Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts as well as working towards certification as an advanced Pro Tools and Logic Pro user. In his spare time, Paul is usually found terrorising the streets on his Motorcycle, Going out with friends, or obsessing over Second-Life.
